New Gillette Ad Gets Blowback...


I get what the ad is supposed to be doing, and I appreciate it... got  40,000 thumbs down - vs 6000 thumbs up reviews when it was released on line.

Men are upset that it casts them all as people who accept and promote bullying and sexism. And while it can't be denied that many, many men would fit that mold- it would also be true that many don't.

Gillette then turns on its own slogan:  "The Best a Man Can Get" by saying - "Is this the best a man can get? We think he can do better".....
