Chris Carrabba Couldn't Sleep, So He Performed A Song At 3AM

If you've been suffering from insomnia while self-quarantining, you're not alone. In the wee hours of the morning on Saturday (March 28), Chris Carrabba uploaded a video on Instagram. "Hi, it's Chris. I can't sleep," the shirtless Dashboard Confessional frontman confessed from his bedroom, "so I thought I'd just play an old song that I don't play very often. I'll give it a shot."

Equipped with an acoustic guitar, Carrabba played "Anyone, Anyone," off his 2001 Drowning EP. The song was fitting as he sang "But I can’t help but feel tired/ So tired."

"I'm going back to sleep," he said after the impromptu performance. See his post below.

Dashboard Confessional is celebrating its 20th anniversary as a band this year; however, had to cut the festivities short when the coronavirus pandemic struck halfway through tour. Earlier this month, the band was one of many forced to postpone tour dates in the wake of the crisis.

"We’re working daily with promoters, venues, and cities to have the best possible understanding of when it will be safe to have shows again," DC told fans on Instagram. "Truthfully, the safety of our fans, band, and crew is paramount, and as soon as we have the go ahead, we’ll be sure to announce new dates for the remainder of the tour. We have loved these shows and this celebration, and we promise we’ll be back on the road when we can."
