That face right there, in the pic above- pretty much sums up my weekend. I wouldn't say "it sucked" - but - it wasn't much to write home about.
I had a pretty good Friday- I mean, we had Bill "Superfoot" Wallace in studio (who trained Elvis Presley and John Belushi, and is a legendary kickboxing champion)!
Here's a pic with Bill and our friend Terry Dow, who owns The Trainining Station in Manchester-
Hell, Bill even kicked Kelly Brown in the face a few times!
What control! He hit Kelly just hard enough to have him feel it, and then pulled back! Incredible for anyone- especially at 78 year old guy!
And then from there- it was over to hang with The Clauses -
We hung out for a while at the WMUR-TV studios for the "Spirit of Giving" TOYS FOR TOTS toy drive!
I even got to get Santa and the Mrs alone for a bit. I didn't want the others to hear what I wanted for Christmas..... <grin>
Later that night- Valerie and I headed out for dinner with friends- and thats where I met these two folks!
Brad and Tracey were at the bar and we started chatting! They're opening up a coffee shop in Berwick Maine (a town right next to the one I live in), and it's going to be inside a deli right across from Corner Point Brewery! They were wicked nice folks, and I can't wait for their shop to open! Sounds like it's going to be awesome!
So Friday was awesome!
After that- there honestly wasn't very much going on. Valerie is still recovering from a nasty cold, so we took it kind of easy. Don't get me wrong, it was fine, just low key.
I mean- when the highlight of your Saturday - is a FROZEN PIZZA - that says a lot!! Haha- That's not a complaint- it's not bad to have a quiet weekend once in a while!
Ok- so we went to BJ's too. WOW! And let me tell you - after last weeks WHO's the DOUCHEBAG? letter- you can bet I let em check my purchase at the door!
I got up early to go see if I could grab some shots of eagles- and I had one of the days that photographers never talk about.
Those are the times they completely strike out. Then- you just to deal with the fact that you wasted ___ hours with nothing to show for it!
Don't even ask me how much time I spent waiting to see some - in a place I don't usually go to. Don't even ask! It's friggin embarrassing!
That's where I took this photo....
Oh yeah - I almost forgot- I actually thought I witnessed a couple "murders"....
(of crows, that is).
But having looked closely- they aren't crows. They're turkey vultures. And a group of Turkey Vultures is NOT a "murder".
They're called "a committee".
So now you know. But check how many there were in Exeter!
And we ended the weekend by taking my parents out for dinner on Sunday night. They dig Applebees- so that's where we went.
It was a nice way to wind up the uneventful weekend-
Hope yours was good!

ps. Notice how I didn't mention the Patriots? Why relive the pain, right?
