A 3 day weekend? I'LL TAKE THAT **** EVERY TIME!
Had a busy weekend, and made use of all three days!
Saturday was a day time Brew Tour 23 trip up to Portland ME!
First stop was Austin Street Brewing Co -
Look at Valerie, gettin' after it!!
And guess who got the small beers? Haha- Of COURSE it was me! We were going to more than one place (and i was driving!!)!
Turns out - the next place was like 100 ft away -
My buddy Gary was already feelin' it! (Ha! j/k Gary!)
Rising Tide Brewing Co was good! Cant remember the beer I had- but I can remember the warm pretzels!!!
And spot number 3 was in Lyman ME - and it was wicked cool! Funky Bow Brewing was set up in an old greenhouse, with live music,
a fire place, and a totally cool vibe!
And I know what you're thinking- "Kretchy- you must have been hammered!" - Nope. We got lunch in Portland, and I spaced out the beers. I don't mess around with that -
Sunday morning - Fathers Day - Valerie and I headed up to York Harbor ME because Valerie, Cait and Tyler were preparing dinner for me that night- and we wanted to pick up some live, local lobsters. That's why we went to OFF THE BOAT LOBSTERS! From the boat, to the dock, to your home. Boom. Just the way to do it- direct. No middle man. And the staff is really fun!
Want a 4 lb lobster???? hahah -
We got 1.25 pounders- and they served em with steamed clams and ribeye steak - BOOM!
It doesn't get any better. Period.
Played golf on Sunday too - with Tyler, my brother and his son Hunter. Hunter is a bad influence on me -
You ever have a "Transfusion"? Pretty good drink!!!
On Monday I got up to shoot and caught a couple of cool things.
First- I was pretty surprised by the color that hit the sky just before sunrise because the sky was blanketed by clouds.
Still - Mother Nature gave me this -
And then I saw this -
And that one right there made my day. The rest was yardwork - power washing and mowing at home.
But a good, fun weekend!!! Hope yours was good too - and I hope all the Dad's out there had a good fathers day.
