Incredible.
That's really how I feel about the Foo Fighters return to the concert stage last night at Bank of NH Pavilion.
It was a rocking show that was Josh Freese's debut on the drums for the band- and the man is - A BEAST.
Unbelievable drummer. And he drove the band in a way that would have made Taylor Hawkins proud.
Dave Grohl got emotional a few times throughout the night- and the crowd had plenty of love for the band to pull him , and them- through. Check out the start of the show -
Here he is introducing Josh to the crowd
And the setlist was stellar-
01. Rescued (live debut)
02. Walk
03. No Son Of Mine
04. Learn To Fly
05. Times Like These
06. Under You (live debut)
07. The Pretender
08. But Here We Are (live debut)
09. Breakout
10. The Sky Is A Neighborhood
11. My Hero
12. This Is A Call
13. All My Life
14. Nothing At All (live debut)
15. Shame Shame (with Violet Grohl)
16. These Days
17. Cold Day In The Sun

And heres a couple other videos -
MY HERO
And Everlong - the finale of the night-
It was a great night at the Bank of NH Pavilion last night from a rock band that stepped back into the light after a year in darkness.
It was a triumph for both the band and those of us in the audience.
Nicely dont, Foos. Nicely done. Glad to have you back.
