I Guess You're Not Supposed to Do THIS...

So, I learned a lesson over the weekend -

As some of you may know, my Dad has been in the hospital for the past week or so.

He's doing much better now and will hopefully be soon. Thanks for all the emails and texts about it!

While he's been in there- we've been bringing my Mom - who's 88 years old- to see him. She can't walk that far so once we get into the hospital - we ask for a wheelchair.

And I guess - you're NOT supposed to do this -

If you can't tell from the pic-

YOU CAN'T TURN THE LONG HOSPITAL HALLWAY INTO A DRAG STRIP!!!

haha -

I "may" have been running my 88 year old Mom down the hallway at about 15 mph (which in hospital MPH = 85!). She was getting a laugh out of it - but in retrospect it might have actually been TERROR! HAHAH

And as I got to the last 1/4 of the hallway - a hospital admin person (no blue operation scrubs) rounded the corner - and she just looked at me and said -

"Ummmmmm...........No, please".

And I said "Oops!" kind of sheepishly, nodded and said "Sorry!". Haha-

So chaulk it up to YOU LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY!

You can't play drag race with your 88 year old Mom with a hospital wheelchair!!!
