Talk about a dream come true...
While Pearl Jam drummer Matt Cameron is out with Covid, the band has been using a bunch of different drummers to fill in for him on the road.
One of those fill-ins was 18-year-old high school senior Kai Neukermans. He got to jump on stage and perform "Mind Your Manners" during Pearl Jam's concert in Oakland on Friday. Earlier last week, the band had asked him to record a video of himself playing along with a Pearl Jam song as an audition.
Neukermans said he skipped school - including a statistics test - to film the video (and the rest is history as they say) What's one of the "best" reasons you skipped school?
