My Weekend in 5: Lids, Disassembling, Beers, Marley, and Call Me Governor!

Wait!!! THAT was a weekend? Where did it go???? WTF??!!!!

First and foremost, since I got talked about it on Friday's show - the hat I ordered came in.

It's a Melin hat. It's made of that wicking material that repels water and will prevent sweat and dirt marks on the hat. And yes, it was more than I should have spent for a friggin baseball hat.

But - IT'S INSTAGRAM'S FAULT! It took basically two presses on buttons and the friggin thing was on it's way to my house!!! It's hard to resist!!!!!!! hahaha - (I gotta stop doing that s***!)

Still, I stand by the purchase. Just don't tell my wife. If she finds out I spent $60 on a friggin hat, she'll kill me in my sleep! (My defense? "SHIPPING was REALLY expensive!!!! Damn Putin!!!")

Stopped into the studio (the old one) on Saturday morning only to find my longtime Chief Engineer Ken Neenan in full "disassemble" mode. My home studio for 30 years - now looks like this:

Its crazy how quickly that happened- hahah ...

And for the hell of it - here's a pic of Kenny and I when he was building the studio some 30 years ago -

We celebrated the new studio at a local bar - and I had to honor Ken by having a beer with him. And yeah, I drank it all. I don't usually with beer, because Im just not a beer guy. But a Blue Moon is pretty damn good!

Later on Saturday -Got to see and hang with my buddy comedian BOB MARLEY on Saturday night at the Music Hall!!!

Valerie and I went to the show with our friends Jolene and Dave- and Marley was HILARIOUS, as usual!!

And this may have happened also -

Chicken bbq ranch pizza is tough to beat. And wood fired pizza has officially taken over the top spot in my favorite kind of pizza list.

Here's something I found in the office this weekend too -

Im holdin on to this.....because man, you just NEVER know... (all I gotta do is use cross out the "12", and I can put in whatever year I want!)

Consider yourself warned!! hahah -

And last but not least, Sunday morning as the sun came up, I watched this giant bald eagle fly up out of the shadows and into the light - and I was ready...

Hope you all had a good weekend-
