Move over Rodrigo Blankenship and make room for 285 pound kicking sensation Nestor “Manny” Higuera who has become the football world's great marvels. The sophomore out of Arizona Christian raised eyebrows over the weekend when his team played for their conference championship against Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
The 5-foot-5, 285 pound kicker was called on to hit a game-winning field goal from 46 yards and he nailed it, securing the win. See the kick below
Higuera has been named special teams player of the week four times for his conference (SAC) and has never missed an extra point in his two years in college. He also reportedly goes by either “La Bota” meaning “The Boot” or “El Pie” meaning “The Foot.”
See how he practices below.
And yes, he's even kicked on a professional field and again, he drains the field goal.
