Jeff Daniels won an Emmy for this role, and it's richly deserved. The man is simply one of the best actors working today. He never disapoints, and here- he excels.
Michelle Dockery (who, as I told my wife- "it's the lady from Downton Abby") and Merrit Weaver (who I told my daughter - "it's the woman from Nurse Jackie and The Walking Dead"!) were both incredible - and Merrit also won an Emmy for the role. And there's many more -
TRUST ME. It's worth it. Great story. And the great thing is - it's a limited series- so there is an end to it. No second season. It's got a beginning AND and end - so you get the whole story without cliffhangers.
