Cream Drummer Ginger Baker Dies at 80

Legendary Cream and Blind Faith drummer Ginger Baker died Sunday morning at the age of 80 after being "critically ill" in the hospital. Baker's work with Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce in Cream inspired bands like Slipknot, Red Hot Chili Peppers and more. Baker was known for a dynamic and wild drumming style that was featured on albums by Paul McCartney and on stage by Mick Jagger. Baker also had 18 solo albums to his name. Tributes began pouring in for Baker after the news of his death. Ringo Starr of the Beatles tweeted "God bless Baker, a wild and inventive musician." Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys cited "Sunshine of Your Love" as one of the greatest songs ever on Twitter.
