Even though I spent most of the vacation week dealing with a nasty case of bronchitis, we spent the first few days way up in Maine in a small town called "Eustis". It's about 4 hours away from our home - but it's worth the trip. There was no electricity, no cell service, no plumbing,  and nobody around for miles. A total escape from all the things we deal with on a daily basis. It was a great way to unplug, and kind of tune in to things we usually miss. We really enjoyed it. Here's some shots I got while I was there...

Each morning, the rising sun shone thru a glass of wildflowers on this handmade table. I knew I wanted to shoot this shot as soon as I walked in the place. Beautiful.....

Sky's Reflection. Nobody around for literally miles, and no sound of cars or planes. Just the quiet of a still lake on a really nice summer night.

Lupine Field, Stratton ME. I know the Lupine season was weak in NH- but not so in Maine. They are everywhere in the Stratton, Eustis, Rangely area- and they're incredible to see....

This was our view every morning.

Not too shabby at all....

Oh, and did I mention that theres a ton of wildlife everywhere?

There is.... lol

My hat is off to the friendly folks of Eustis, Rangely, and Stratton, Maine. Beautiful place you got there......thanks for welcoming us...
