Former Hinder frontman Austin Winkler is opening up about his recent departure from the band.
He confirms "with a heavy heart" that he has indeed parted ways with the group, and wishes his former bandmates nothing but the best in the future. Winkler also gives fans an update on his road to recovery, explaining that he's now been sober for more than 150 days.
He says it hasn't always been easy, but the support he's received on Twitter and Instagram has really helped. And Winkler urges fans to keep watching his social media pages, where he plans to make announcements about the next step in his career very soon.
Winkler says he's been working in the studio nonstop, and is really passionate about this new project.
